Maternity:
these sessions celebrate the beautify of maternity & celebrate a special and fleeting time. Maternity sessions are 1 hour and take place in the studio or at the location of your choice. Portland has many outdoor, urban and natural settings. Let me know the kind of look you are going for and we will set it all up.
Newborns:
gush brand new babies steal my heart every single time. I love these sessions. Newborn sessions need to take place as soon as possible after birth, with in the first 2 weeks of like ideally. Why so early? Well for a couple of reasons, first after the first two weeks babies tend to “wake up” and uncurl. Babies are much easier, calmer and better in front of the camera in those early day. The second is the little ones literally change every single day. Capturing that early time is so very important. When you book a newborn session I will enter your due date into my calendar and then drop everything whenever the baby arrives. Did you just have your baby? That’s okay – give me a call; I may be able to fit you in!
Babies:
As a mother my self I know how fast little ones grow, capturing all these early stages before they pass by. Baby sessions can take place either in the home or at the studio. These sessions tend to be relaxed but fast paced. The key to baby sessions is keeping little ones interested and having fun before they get “over it”. We schedule sessions to avoid nap & meal times to make sure babies are happy and having fun!
Baby’s first year:
I also offer a “baby’s first year” collection starting at $550. This collection covers 3 full sessions (newborn, 6 month & 1 year) and comes with a print credit for each session. Please contact me for details.
Kids & Families:
Sessions are relaxed (but fast-paced), fun and freeing. Don’t expect and and stuff, super-posed shots. Images are real, spontaneous, and fresh. Once your session is booked we’ll discuss location, clothing, and the overall feel of the session.
You’ll receive tips to prepare for any session, view examples of products. I offer high resolution digital files on CD as well as print. These are not your typical portraits and my style is not for everyone that’s ok. It is important to make sure we are a good match before booking so that we are all thrilled with the final images.
