Floyd Girls are the cutest

It’ is almost too good some times, a beautiful day, two cute little girls, a little bit of a theme. It’s like these guys actually like me or something. 😉

I adore these little ladies, not just because they are sweet, smart and crazy cute, but because their mama is one of my nearest and dearest. 🙂

Behold the cuteness!

small town love

I have known Morgan and Jacob for a few years now. The are two of the sweetest, kindest and funniest kids I know. I should also say Morgs happens to also be one of my daughter’s best friends, and “Mr. Jacob” is my son’s own version of a super hero, so to say they are beloved in my household is an understatement.

Morgan is hilarious, spunky, and full of soo much energy she keeps me laughing. Jacob is sweet, kind, patient and surprisingly terrible at making silly faces. These two are awesome.

When I started talking to my friend and their mother about taking over their yearly photo shoot I had tons of ideas for them. In the end we ended up with a cool summer night in a beautiful field of flowers. It was perfect, and so fun to capture the two kiddos I have grown to know and adore. We had a great time giggling, making faces and taking photos.

Here are a handful of my favs.

thank you for a wonderful 2013!

I have been working on this post for days, and I am happy to say it is final ready!

2013 Was an amazing year here at Emily G Photography. Filled with new faces, a new website (!) new couples, new babies, and many back in front of the camera from years past. It was my pleasure to capture over 30 weddings, Over 40 newborns and over 45 families of all shapes and sizes. I  was honored to capture several wonderful businesses in action, a few visionary business owners and new some new commercial buildings/spaces. My work was published both online and in several magazines.  I was also greatly honored to capture the birth of some dear friends second child. it was such a pleasure to meet so many of you for the first time, and even more lovely to see SO MANY of you again this year. Watching new families start, and others grow is such a gift. It was a wonderful year for me both personally and professionally, and I want to thank you all for being such an important part of it. As my own little ones grow up so fast, and memories of my own wedding still get me misty eyed it is such an honor to be there to capture so many important moments in my client’s lives. Putting together a “best of” post made me smile, thank you all for that.

Here we go!

Again thank you all, and looking forward to an even better 2014!

Moyer Family 2013

My My How Time Flies!

How has one of my favorite tiny little newborns before such a big boy! It was great to catch up with the whole family. Talk about cute little boys, action figures, weird toys and even weirder children’s programing. Seems like just yesterday it was Megan & Becca’s wedding, man how time flies!

Here are a few of my favorites…

Megan & Becca thanks for meeting up with me and having me capture your family again. Pman is HUGE! And such a sweet baby. It was great to see you all again.

I’ll be done with the whole set very soon, but for now I would be happy to offer you a blog contest. If you can get 30 people to comment on this post I will throw in a set of brag books on the house. So leave some love folks.

biger, better, and even more adorable, how is that even possible!

It all started four years ago when a cute little toddler giggled and smiled for me during an adorable family session. It was a great session, one of my favorites for the year actually. The next year we topped it with the same baby girl and her brand new tiny little brother, another great session I am super proud of.  We followed that up with fun in the country with so much cuteness and fuzzy blonde hair I got a little sugar shock.  Then a combo part studio part downtown session the next year I loved. THEN last year we had a bit of fun on a clear chilly morning in forest park.

That is a lot of successful and adorable sessions. So I have to admit sometimes with such a great track record I get a little nervous with how we are going to top it. This year we shot at the families new home on the west side of town. And I have to say I am so happy with the results. The home was lovely, the weather was great, and the kids were so good for me. It might just be my favorite session yet!

Get ready for a long peek, I have lots to show off…

Crissie & Daniel thanks again for having me into your home this year. Your kids are adorable as always! It was great seeing you all again, and catching up at home. I hope you enjoyed the sneak peek. You know know how I roll, if you can get 30 people to comment on this post I will throw in a set of brag books on the house. So leave some love people!
