Olivia & Andrew: love

While talking about places to take engagement photos with Olivia & Andrew, the idea of the Portland Mercado came up. We were thinking of places with special meaning to the couple, and some bright colors & textures for the backdrops. I myself had not made it to the Mercado yet, but MAN I AM SO GLAD I SAID YES!

The mercado is bright, colorful, fun and above all freaking Delicious!

Olivia and Andrew started out in the typical way, kind of not comfortable with being infront of the camera, but by the end of the session we were all laughing, joking and having a good time. It was such a fun evening getting to know them, and one of their favorite Portland spots. It really speaks to how fun, loving, and family oriented this awesome couple is.

I mean really just look at Olivia’s laugh, and Andrew’s adoring smile at her, how can you not love these two.

Here are a few of my favorites:

O&A thank you so much for sharing your special spot with me. I loved spending the evening with you all.

I really can not wait for your big day this summer. It will be an amazing event I can already tell.

The whole gallery will be ready very soon. For now let’s throw down a blog contest shall we? If you can get 30 people to comment on this post, I will throw in an 11×14 wall hanging on the house.

So leave some love folks!

I love Cedrick… oh and Kaitlyn & Aaron are cool too…

Kaitlyn and Aaron are so fun to hang with. We did a mini session this winter, but the sun is out so it is time for the full session! This past weekend we spent time downtown laughing, talking weddings, and of course all about our beloved 4 legged friends. They brought their darling Retired Greyhound Cedrick to the shoot this time, and he was a charmer! Such a sweet boy! I kind of fell in love with him. 🙂

Here are a few of my fav’s from the session…

K & A thanks for hanging out, and of course sharing Cedrick with me. He totally stole my heart!

Seattle Love

Camille & Brett are awesome.

They live & love in an awesome city.

They took me to an awesome park.

And most of all, they have awesome taste in ice-cream.

I try and get up to Seattle a few times a year to visit friends, and usually combine time with my Seattle clients. This spring trip kicked off with a great evening of fun, sunlight, and yummy icecream! I could rant more about how lovely these two are, but instead I will just show off some photos from our time together.

C&B thanks so much for having me up to your fine city. And OMG thanks again for the amazing ice-cream. I think I will be spending my summer tracking down Horchata Ice cream down here! I had a great time with you all, and I can not wait to capture your big day this summer.

Your full gallery will be ready very shortly. For now shall we throw down a blog contest? If you can get 30 people to comment on this post, I will throw in an 11×14 wall print on the house. So leave some love folks!

Jordana & Cooper: love

Cooper and Jordana make me smile…

They also make me crazy hungry….

Recently we spent a beautiful spring night on a very cool NE Portland street, talking weddings, jobs and FOOD. So much food talk people, and all of it good. These two have both worked in the portland food scene for a while, and have lots of great opinions. It was elightining, even for a wanna be foodie like me. 🙂

They are also sweet, kind, and crazy smart. I had so much fun with these guys.

Here are a few of my favs:

Rachel + Roland = love

I first met Rachel a few months ago when she, her wedding planner and I met to talk about her upcoming fall wedding. We laughed, we talked about puffy dresses and wedding cake, we had a great time. I was super excited when she wanted to book me for her big day. At our meeting we also talked about engagement photos. We wanted the photos be set in a place that was a good representation of her and Roland’s time off together. These two are smart, classy, playful and full of fun. We ended up settling on Langdon Farm’s Golf Club, and we had such a blast. Even if the grounds were a little soggy, and the skies kept threatening to rain, we had a great time. I loved capturing these two, they have a great energy together. They are quick to laugh and throw out a joke, my kind of folks!

Here are a few of our time together…
