Xander is 3!

There are no arguments to be made, Xander is one of the coolest little kids in all of the Portland Metro area. He just is, deal with it. With a super star Daddy & Talented Diva for a Mama it is just meant to be. So what do you do when a super cool kid turns 3? You rent a crazy huge inflate-able castle and rock out of course. I have been lucky enough to work with Daria, Dallas & little Xander for the past few years on belly, baby & kiddo photos. So it was fun to come back this year and capture the little dude’s birthday party. It was a fun event filled with bright colors, super heroes and of course lots of bouncing.

its a small (and super cute) world…

Ok first of all I have to say what a small, small word this is. The lovely & adorable Niemeyer family found me via a photographer friend who was (lucky for me) out of town the  month of their newest babe’s birth. During our session we found out I have captured at least 2 of Dad’s colleagues families, one of Mom’s colleagues and a dear family friend of theirs is also one of my closest photographer friends in the Pacific NW. Ha what a small, small world. Beyond all of our funny and ever growing connections, I just adored working with this family. Their two older kids were sweet, funny and extremely well behaved. Baby girl was a darling and just a strikingly beautiful infant. Mom & Dad were also lovely, and great to work with. Over all I am so pleased with this session and our results. I could go on, and on, but lets get to the photos shall we!

and what a sweet little princess she was

Meet sweet baby Aurora, she is such a darling girl. She was sweet, sleepy and quite curly for me. Add to that her uber sweet Mom & Dad. Even her “furry big sister” was well behaved for me. I had a lovely time meeting her & working with mom and dad again. I can not wait to see this lady grow over the next year. 🙂

Josie & Brad thanks for having me out to meet your little lady. She is absolutely beautiful!  I will have the whole set done here shortly. I hope you are enjoying your time with the sweet girl. I look forward to capturing her and your family again soon. As you know I am a lover of blog challenges. Nathan is 6 months!

I adore this family…

Are you ready for a HUGE list of links? It has been my pleasure to document this family for quite some time, so there are many of them. 🙂

First came the wedding, then the maternity session, then a hospital visit, then the first newborn session, then 6 months (& baby #2 announcement!) then a second newborn session (well I guess I never blogged that here is one below, more on facebook here if you like.)

 

So… just a few weeks ago it was my pleasure to capture this adorable family again. This time to celebrate baby Nathan turning two, and his lovely new smile.

Arlo is 6 months!

I really mean it when I say it is a pleasure to watch my littlest clients grow. You may remember sweet little Arlo from his newborn session not too long ago. Well Arlo Bear is back, and even more adorable. Six months is always a fun age to capture. So much character, so much movement, so many smiles. Little dude had no shortage of any for me!
