so cute I want to eat her up

How has it been 6 months since darling Sienna was born?

How is that even possible, I feel like I *just* did her parents wedding, and now the itty bitty baby girl is big and chubby! She is so darn cute I just wanted to eat her  up. Oh those cheeks! I had a wonderful morning with her recently filled with raspberries, drool and talks of puppies. It was a great time, and so much fun. Man I love watching the babies grow. 🙂

V thanks again for trusting me to capture your girl. She is DARLING and I have loved watching her grow. I am so excited to see her amazing personality again at the one year mark. Smooch those chubby cheeks for me.

brand new cutness

Oh spring time, it’s the time for new beginnings and new life. So of course it is baby boom season around here. 😉

Just a few short weeks ago I got to hang out with one of the most adorable little newborns I have worked with to date. Little lady was sweet, sleepy, and oh so charming for me. It seems like just yesterday I was working with her mom on her maternity session, and now I’m finishing off her newborn session!

Oh to the images shall we, I can not wait to share this one…

Julia thanks again for sharing your darling girl with me. It was such a pleasure to capture her. I hope you enjoyed your peek, the whole gallery will be up shortly.

For now I would love to offer you a blog challenge. If you can get 30 people to comment on this post I will throw in a darling little brag book on the house.

Happy First Birthday PW!

Warning, serious cuteness ahead!

I feel like I say it all the time, but it really feels like just yesterday I was capturing Evan & Devin’s fabulous big day, and now their baby girl is turning one! Of course she was perfect in the studio last year for her newborn session, then outside for her 6 month session, but she was extra fun this year for her one year session. There were tutus, tiaras, balloons, pigtails and even a yummy cake! From this family I should have expected nothing less, I love these guys.

Check out the cuteness!

Ev & Dev it was a pleasure to capture your darling baby girl as she grew this year, and I look forward to many more years with your cute faces in-front of my camera! PW is perfectly perfect, and you all make such a beautiful family. I can not wait to see how fun she will be with even more time!

I will be done with the whole set soon!

welcome to the world little rex

Darling little Rex with his big blue grey eyes and spunky attitude recently stole my heart. At three weeks old he is already quite clear about his needs, wants and desires. Most of them involving Mom’s arms and milk, but impressive none the less. Rex was adorable for me, and great to have in the studio. It was my pleasure to capture his darling little face and family just last week. It was also a particularly fun session as Mom and I ran in the same circles in collage so there was catching up to do. 🙂

Here are a few favorites from my time with darling baby Rex.

Morgan & Daniel Thanks again for coming down to the studio trusting me to capture your family. Little Rex is the most adorable little man. I hope you all are settling into life with the little guy and getting some sleep! I will have the whole set done for you very soon. 🙂

thank you for a wonderful 2013!

I have been working on this post for days, and I am happy to say it is final ready!

2013 Was an amazing year here at Emily G Photography. Filled with new faces, a new website (!) new couples, new babies, and many back in front of the camera from years past. It was my pleasure to capture over 30 weddings, Over 40 newborns and over 45 families of all shapes and sizes. I  was honored to capture several wonderful businesses in action, a few visionary business owners and new some new commercial buildings/spaces. My work was published both online and in several magazines.  I was also greatly honored to capture the birth of some dear friends second child. it was such a pleasure to meet so many of you for the first time, and even more lovely to see SO MANY of you again this year. Watching new families start, and others grow is such a gift. It was a wonderful year for me both personally and professionally, and I want to thank you all for being such an important part of it. As my own little ones grow up so fast, and memories of my own wedding still get me misty eyed it is such an honor to be there to capture so many important moments in my client’s lives. Putting together a “best of” post made me smile, thank you all for that.

Here we go!

Again thank you all, and looking forward to an even better 2014!
