three adorable boys

I can not imagine having three boys under the age of 3, but somehow the H family makes it look all kinds of wonderful. I had a great time hanging out with them last week, meeting the new little guy, and capturing this adorable growing family.

Here are a handful of my favorite images!

Leslie thank you for having me into your home, and trusting me to capture your boys, they are each so adorable in their own right, but together they stole my heart. I hope you all are having fun and getting at least a little rest these days! I will have your whole set ready for you very soon. For now I would love to offer you a blog post challenge. If you can get 30 people to comment on this post, there will be a set of darling little brag books on the house for you. A perfect way to show off your sweet baby boys.

baby Z is One!

Oh man I just realized I forgot to post this one! I L.O.V.E working with this family, really these guys are awesome. So it is always special to come back year after year to watch a family grow. Last time we saw this little guy he was a chubby newborn, and how he is a huge big boy! We had a great time running around the farm, catching up with his princess big sister, sloshing around in the mud.

On to the cuteness!

Can’t wait for next year!

Molly & Ryan: love

One thing I love about being a wedding photographer is watching two families combine into one. That happens in a variety of ways of course, but one of my favorite ways is when there are adorable kids in the mix. Molly & Ryan will celebrate their wedding this summer on a rooftop in downtown Portland, so instead of a traditional engagement session we did a combo family session with their whole team. Let me just say I adore these people. There was no shortage of laughter, silly jokes and crazy faces with this crew. We spent the evening exploring the hill by the Zoo and Forest Park. It was a fun night filled with smiles.

Here are a few of my favs:

M & R thanks again for meeting up with me and sharing your family. I had a great time getting to know you two and the kiddos. You guys are hilarious. I hope you enjoyed the peek. I will have the whole set done very soon.

Niemeyer Extended Family 2014

It’s been over a year and a half since I started working with the N family. First when sweet little Katheryn arrived, then as she grew into a chubby baby and then adorable toddler. So when the family contacted me again to ask if I could fit them in while their extended family was in town I jumped at the chance. While we were hoping for a bit of snow, we lucked into a sunny pretty afternoon in the local park. We had a great time catching up, and talking to the world traveling end of the family. By the way what is cuter than two toe-headed little boys with sparkling smiles? Oh the same boys with Australian accents! The cousins were SO CUTE, and just as darling and well behaved as the Niemeyer kiddos. it was a grand afternoon full of fun, mud and tales of kangaroos.

Here are a few of my favorites…

Jen & Ryan and family thanks again for having me over to capture your family! You all were great to work with, and so much fun to point a camera at. I hope everyone’s travels went well and the whole trip was a success. I will have the whole set done very soon. 🙂

thank you for a wonderful 2013!

I have been working on this post for days, and I am happy to say it is final ready!

2013 Was an amazing year here at Emily G Photography. Filled with new faces, a new website (!) new couples, new babies, and many back in front of the camera from years past. It was my pleasure to capture over 30 weddings, Over 40 newborns and over 45 families of all shapes and sizes. I  was honored to capture several wonderful businesses in action, a few visionary business owners and new some new commercial buildings/spaces. My work was published both online and in several magazines.  I was also greatly honored to capture the birth of some dear friends second child. it was such a pleasure to meet so many of you for the first time, and even more lovely to see SO MANY of you again this year. Watching new families start, and others grow is such a gift. It was a wonderful year for me both personally and professionally, and I want to thank you all for being such an important part of it. As my own little ones grow up so fast, and memories of my own wedding still get me misty eyed it is such an honor to be there to capture so many important moments in my client’s lives. Putting together a “best of” post made me smile, thank you all for that.

Here we go!

Again thank you all, and looking forward to an even better 2014!
