Piazza Family 2014

It was my pleasure to capture the whole Piazza family this year. It’s been just over a year and a half since sweet little Cecelia was in-front of my camera. She started out as a tiny little newborn, then a wee little chubby thing, then a toddling 1 year old.  She has always been beautiful, and at least a little bit willful, but always fun to capture. This year was no different, Cecelia gave me a run for my money, but it was totally worth it. She also brought along a whole new crew of cousins, grandparents and even an auntie and uncle.

The whole crew was lovely to work with, and capture. I  got to point the big camera at the big family as well as get some extra special photos of a little lad just turning one while in town visiting the grand parents. It was a great day.

Here are a few of my favorites…

The Fox Family 2014

Oh the warm days of summer. I am trying to enjoy every bit of them right now since we all know Autumn is just around the corner, and sweater weather will be on it’s heels. Don’t get me wrong I do love the fall, but ahhh a nice sunny summer afternoon is just lovely.

I spend one lovely summer afternoon recently with the Fox family. I met Amelia a few years ago at a wedding and was very pleased when she contacted me for some family photos while the whole extended group was in town. I had so much fun with all these guys. It may have gotten a bit warm on the trail, but we had a grand time chasing bugs and taking some photos.

Ellie is One!

Oh man I adore this little lady.

I mean how could I not, her parents had me out to their killer wedding a few years back, and then back to capture her itty bitty cuteness last year about this time. Now she is back in-front of my camera in all her chubby toddler glory!

It was my pleasure to spend the evening with Ellie and her family at one of my favorite local spots Red Ridge Farms.

Check out the cuteness:

small town love

I have known Morgan and Jacob for a few years now. The are two of the sweetest, kindest and funniest kids I know. I should also say Morgs happens to also be one of my daughter’s best friends, and “Mr. Jacob” is my son’s own version of a super hero, so to say they are beloved in my household is an understatement.

Morgan is hilarious, spunky, and full of soo much energy she keeps me laughing. Jacob is sweet, kind, patient and surprisingly terrible at making silly faces. These two are awesome.

When I started talking to my friend and their mother about taking over their yearly photo shoot I had tons of ideas for them. In the end we ended up with a cool summer night in a beautiful field of flowers. It was perfect, and so fun to capture the two kiddos I have grown to know and adore. We had a great time giggling, making faces and taking photos.

Here are a handful of my favs.

fun between the raindrops

Rain, sun, giggles and lots of greenery. Typical Oregon right.

I have been photographing sweet Aurora, and her family for a few years now. It was my pleasure this year to capture the entire extended lot! We had lots of fun running around the park between the raindrops. They were troopers with the weather, and mushy grass.
