Lauren + JJ = love

I knew from the first meeting Lauren & JJ would be fun to capture. Seeing them together makes me smile, they have wonderful chemistry, and are super cute to boot. How could I not love them in-front of the camera! Just a few weeks ago we lucked into a warm sunny evening (a break in the rain yay!) for an engagement session. We spent some time downtown Portland, checking out the waterfront, and making some images.

Here are a few of my many favorites from our time together…

Romantic in the rain…

When Alison and I first started talking about her June NW wedding I knew she would be wonderful to capture. Over the phone she seemed adorable, smart, funny and full of love. So when we finally met in person and I got to meet Brandon I was so happy to be right. These two love birds were great to hang out with and capture. Up for anything, even finding our Portland “liquid sunshine” charming. I had so much fun capturing these two, and can not wait for the wedding!

Here are a handful of my favorites…

I’ve known miss Jordan for a long time now… she’s been my friend’s daughter, my baby sitter and even my photography exception once. I simply adore this lady. All grown up and stunning these days.

So it is my pleasure to also now call her one of my brides. Jordan and Jordon are planning a wedding for 2014 and I am so looking forward to capturing it. With their unique sense of style, and over the top adorableness, I am really looking forward to it. We had a great time recently taking some engagement photos too. It was great fun to catch up with Jordan and meet her man.

I love these pictures they bring out their young love. My favorite is the close up black and white in the field which Jordan is wearing his hat. Jordan is such a beautiful young woman and the pictures show her personality.

Jodi + Gary = Love

I always greatly appreciate referrals from past clients. It really is the biggest compliment I can get. So when Jen sent one of her best friend’s to me to talk about wedding photography it was super sweet. Lucky for me her friends Jodi & Gary are also incredibly wonderful and sweet to work with.
