yep sometimes we just embrace the rain, especially if it involves cute little girls and umbrellas. 🙂

Tonight I finished my last wedding of 2012 (and it was an amazing one!) and could not help but reflect on what an awesome year it has been. I want to really thank all of you who made 2012 such an amazing year for emily g photography! For now I am going to say thank you, unplug & head to the Oregon Coast with friends and family for a few days off. If you need me I will be back to get things going with new energy in 2013!(Thursday Jan 3rd to be more specific)
Here are a few of the many, many, many images I captured in 2012 that still make me smile…
I know I say it all the time, and you are sick of hearing it, but I love my job. I love watching families change, age & grown in front of my camera lens. Miss Scarlett started out as a bubbly baby, moved to a cute toddler last year, and is now a full fledged young lady. Oh and lets not forget a soon to be big sister. I had a great time catching up with this marvelous family, playing around the studio, and taking advantage of a lovely late fall sunset. I love combining a kids session with a few maternity images too, just makes me more excited to see them again when baby arrives!
Here are a few of my many favorites…
Shannon & Wes it was great to see you all again, thanks for trekking into the studio. I can not wait to see you all again soon for baby brothers session. 🙂 I hope you enjoyed the sneak peek. I will have the whole gallery done very soon for you! You know the way I roll too, if you can get 30 people to comment on this post I will set you up with a darling set of brag books on the house.

For the past few years I have been lucky enough to capture many families grow and change through my lens. One of the most adorable is hands down the E family. I mean really, check out these crazy cute little blondies. This brother & sister team are always so good for me, the perfect balance of cute & sassy. This year we braved the cold NW weather and headed out into the beautiful Forest Park. We had a great time running around, playing with colorful leaves and making fun of my terrible animal noises.
Here are a few of my favorites from our time together…
Crissie thanks again for making the trek out and bundling up the family. Your kids are adorable as always! It was great seeing you all again, and catching up. I hope you enjoyed the sneak peek. You know know how I roll, if you can get 30 people to comment on this post I will throw in a set of brag books on the house. So leave some love people!

It was just a few months back when it was warm & sunny, it was also just a few months back when I met the S family. Two darling kiddos, with bright miles and infectious giggles. I mean really how could you not smile back to these super cute twins. So when their mom contacted me a bit ago about sneaking in a quick session before the holidays I of course said yes.
Here are a few from our time together.
Colleen thanks again for heading into the studio and hanging out again. Your kiddos are so darling, I hope you enjoyed the sneak peek. I will have the whole set done for you very soon!
