Steve + Anthony = love

When I first started talking to Steve and Anthony about their summer wedding they mentioned the big day would be held at their La Center home. After we met I went up north to check out the house and property, let me just say “country home” does not describe the beauty and grandeur of this property. The fields, the woods, the animals, and the house OMG the amazing house! It so so stunning we decided to use the barn and fields for the engagement photos too. We had a wonderful time walking the horses, playing with the puppies and even a little wine by the fire. Steve and Anthony have truly made their home a paradise, and it was my pleasure to spend an evening there with these two lovely guys taking photos.

Steve and Anthony thanks for having me into your home and onto the property again. Your home is nothing short of amazing, and I can not wait to work with you all again! It will be such a spectacular location for a wedding, I am so looking forward to it!

Meeghan + Robert = Love

If I had to describe this session in one word it would be warm.

Not because the beautiful Seattle weather was too warm, in fact it was just perfect, but the couple I worked with. Well they have warmth flowing out of them. Warm hearts, warm smiles, warm hugs. These two exude kindness and warmth.

It was my pleasure to capture Meeghan and Robert on a stunning warm Seattle night. In lieu of a “engagement session” we did an “anniversary” shoot. These two lovelies got married last year, but will be celebrating the big event this summer with a family church wedding and reception here in Portland.  I get to photograph that party, and I am excited about it for sure!

We had a lovely time shooting around

We had a lovely time shooting around the Seattle waterfront, dodging some kind of hid-n-seek league, and laughing about interesting charicters both on television and in real life. I dig these two.

M&R thanks for having me up to your fair city. I had a great time hanging out with you two, and can not wait to capture the big event this summer in Portland. I should have the whole set foe you very soon.

Love Wins!

It was my pleasure to spend most of Monday with some amazing couples from all over Oregon celebrating their newly won right to get legally married.

There were tears, there was laughter, and there was SO MUCH LOVE.

What a great day, here are a handful of my favorites…

Jeanie & Arturo are the most fun

It all started in NE Portland at Mississippi Studios. Boy meets girl at live music concert, and they fall in love over good music and witty banter. Years later they decide to make it official and hire witty photographer, said witty photographer drags adorable couple back to the scene of the crime and takes many, many photos.

I adore said witty couple. 🙂

Jeanie and Arturo have the perfect mixture of whit, charm, and style. They fit in perfect on NE Mississippi between all the great music venues, hispter taco shops, and local boutiques. We had so much fun walking the street, laughing at wedding planning silliness, and getting to know each-other.

Like I said I adore these guys.

On to the photos!

J&A thank you so much for spending the evening with me, and showing off your hood. I loved getting to know you guys better and hanging out. I can not wait for your wedding day, I just know it will be killer!

For now enjoy the peek. I will have the whole set done very soon. If you want I would love to offer you a little blog contest. If you can get 30 people to comment on this post I will throw in an 11×14 wall print on the house.

So leave some love folks!
