You might remember Scott & Danielle from their bright and super fun engagement session not too long ago. Well one of my all time favorite engagement sessions gave way to one of my all time favorite beautiful weddings! Their big day at the gorgeous Brookside Inn on Abby Road in Carlton OR was all around fantastic. We has so much fun from start to end. There is no way to pack it in to one post so yet again I will be breaking my favorites into two! Here are a few of my favs so far from the beginning of the day.
Ahhh I always love the “getting ready” photos.
I did not get Danielle’s stylist’s name or salon but he was FANTASTIC! All of the girls looked so elegant and beautiful. (if you are reading this please email me I would love to get you some credit.)
(the groom’s beautiful little neice. I wanted to eat her up she is so cute.)
Yay for bride’s maids, they were all over taking care of their girl. Wine was a very important supply.
Our groom and his details. Almost all the accessories of the day including his watch and cuff links were provided by this great store in SE Portland “Guilt” beautiful stuff all around.
Apparently one of the groom’s men were had an emergency button situation. Luckily we had an expert seamstress/grandma on hand to save the day.
Our groom and his boys doing their best “blue steel“. Needless to say they were cracking me up ALL DAY.
And then it was time for the “first look” Scott & Danielle choose to have their photos done prior to the ceremony so that they could go straight to the party. This gave us lots of time to get some beautiful creative and mellow stuff. We set up the first look up by the main house among some great grape vines.
Down by the lake. These two are so sweet. Did I mention that the Brookside Inn has a ton of amazing areas for photos? It was a photographers dream there. We did not even cover a few spots it is that photogenic of a place.
Danielle had her little brother stand up with her, he was so sweet. I loved watching them together. I am betting they were hilarious as kids.
The entire wedding party. And when I say party it is fitting! This gang was super fun. Not sure who started the “walk like an Egyptian” movement but it killed me.
I know I already posted this one, but I love it so darn much I am posting it again. They are so great together and such a joy to photograph.
Well that is a SUPER long post and I have not even touched the ceremony or reception. All I will say is three words LIVE FUNK BAND. Uh yeah it was awesome.
Like usual this is going to be a 2 post wedding. Stay tuned for the next installment! I have tons more fun photos to show off and well I will explain the “Isn’t she lovely” title. And if you are a friend or family member that would like to see the whole set when it is done in a few weeks leave a comment below and I will email you when it is ready.

The stylist’s name is Marciano Palacio, and he works out of the Iolite salon downtown Portland. He IS amazing, and the nicest, best neighbor you could ever have!
