Ok lets be honest for a bit, growing up I could not WAIT to get out of my small town. I was ready to live in a big city, with big things to to. Well I left, I traveled, I lived in the city, and in the end I came back. For many reasons it is still weird, but I do love my little town. So when I was asked to photograph an event here in my own hood I was happy to do it. The Camellia Festival was a great day, celebrating art and culture in the pacific rim. The Chehalem Cultural Center is a great venue for it too, we are lucky to have such a great space with such a dedicated staff in our little town.
