It really was only fitting that Krystal & Matthew got married on one of the warmest days of the year. If I had to describe this couple in just a few words warm would be in the top 5 descriptors. Kind, sincere & loving would be up there to, OH and tall, very tall (says the short photographer lol). Krystal & Matthew have been a joy to work with every step of the way. You might remember them from their downtown Portland engagement session not too long ago, it was one of my favorites this year. The wedding was also very Portland, but this time we stuck to some of their favorite neighborhoods. They got ready near the river front, we did most of the portraits on the east side waterfront, and then the beautiful wedding & reception was held right smack dab in the middle of Ladd’s addition, of of my most favorite Portland Neighborhoods. Krystal & Matthew’s big day was full of so much love it was my pleasure to capture it. Both the Bride & Groom’s families were wonderful too, you can tell this wedding was very much anticipated and looked forward to. I should mention also my second shooter for the day was the awesome Joel Bock (thanks for coming out of semi retirement to help me dude!), some of the images you see below he captured. Though I walked away baked & sunburned I walked away with a smile. I love leaving a wedding inspired!
