Evan, Devin and I have been talking for quite a while not about their October commitment ceremony at the beautiful Portland Art Museum. I love my job, talking about flowers, food & reception details over wine and cheese with fabulous clients, it just does not get much better! I am so looking forward to their fall event, it is going to be amazing!
So in preparation for the big day we went out a few weeks ago and did some engagement photos. We wanted to get an outdoors feel as the ceremony portraits will be quite urban. We headed out to Champogne State Park on a beautiufl early summer evening. I even got to play with the furry family members. 🙂

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

Devin & Evan thanks again for trekking out to see me again. I am so looking forward to capturing your big day! As always I love to offer my new clients a blog challenge. If you can get 30 people to comment on this post I will throw in an 11×14 mounted print on the house. I hope you are having a great holiday weekend! I will have the entire gallery for you very soon.

Awesome shots, as usual Emily. I love the colors and that the pups got in a few pics as well.
Nice. I particularly like the feel of the large color image, second one up from the bottom. Could two people look more meant for each other? Can’t wait to see more from the big event!
love the black and white one with them laughing (top right) above the colored one….priceless!
Beautiful photos of Evan and my brother Devin. Great location! Good work Emily G!
Those are amazing shots- so happy for you both!
Very nice shots especially the second from the bottom is my fav. The black and white photos are also quite nice as well.
These pictures are AMAZING and really show the love that you have for each other!!
Really nice pictures. Hope the planning is going well.
I love these pictures. They are so personal, warm and intimate but still have a very polished, artistic look. Love the compositions overall. Really nice work. I would be happy to recommend you – wish we were in Portland to get our pictures done…
And the subjects are so obviously in love – can’t wait for the big day!
I love the ones at the very bottom with the babies. They look so cute, they are pro’s like they have been doing that for years.

Amazing pics of amazing guys. It’s difficult to say this one or that one is the best but……..if I have to…….I like the large black and white one with you in the field. You could do that one again on an anniversary. XO
