Growing up summer camp was a super important part of my life. It kept me motivated, sane and probably out of allot (more) trouble. Camp for me was a safe place to learn, grow and be my self. One of the things I loved about summer camp was meeting new people. Back then I don’t think I knew just how important these people would be in the long run. One of those wonderful people is my friend Heather. Heather and her family were my home away from home for a few years there, and some mighty good memories were made! It was my pleasure to capture with my camera some important new times for the lovely Heather. You see Heather & Dan just had their first baby, and man is he a cute one! I can not tell you how happy I am for these two, Mr. Soren is a lucky boy to have these two loving parents.

Aside from falling in love with baby Soren, I also fell in love with the amazing window light in Heather & Dan’s home.
Dan is completely smitten with the little guy can’t you tell.

Emily, you did a fantastic job (although with such a good looking, happy family it probably wasn’t too difficult)! I love how alert Soren is in the last picture, you can just tell that he is memorizing every bit of the faces looking back at him. Can’t wait to meet him and see his Mom and Dad!
