Kelsey & Stephan were married a few weeks ago at the stunningly beautiful the De Armond Garden Estate in Hillsboro, OR. You might recognize them from their engagement session not too long ago. I just adore these two. It is always so lovely when clients give you creative freedom to capture their big day, and the fact that they are adorable pretty great too. Every little detail of this wedding was immaculate. The venue was absolutely stunning. The flowers (by the uber talented Pam of Ink & Peat Floral Design) were gorgeous. The food & event design (By the lovely Emily at The Art of Catering) was delicious and flawless. I should also thank my lovely and super talented Second Shooter for the day Kacy, some of the images you see below she shot, she rocks (if any one needs HS Senior Photos Kacy is the best around!).
The entire evening was amazing. I hope you all are ready for an extra long peek, I could not help my self here!
Weddings like this make me love my job!
Kelsey’s dress was so lovely. She had her mother’s dress altered to fit her, and the style she wanted, I think that is so sweet.
Kelsey is one of those bride that show up absolutely beautiful even before the hair and make up. That particular morning it was raining, and not a little spit, it was really raining. But lovely Kelsey was just Zen about the whole thing. I was so impressed!
Stephan was also very calm and relaxed. His grooms men were also so sweet and fun to spend time with. You can tell these boys not only like to have fun together, but really care for one another. I just love that.
Kelsey’s Brides Maids were also lovely. I absolutely adore the dresses they picked out! And here is Kelsey looking lovely in hers. 🙂
Kelsey’s wedding dress was topped off by some of the most amazing wedding flowers I have ever seen. Just beautiful!
Again if any of my 2010 brides are still looking for a florist Pam at Ink & Peat does amazing work.
Stephen also rocked the fun details. From is cool boutonniere to custom cuff links. He had a K for Kelsey & and S for Stephan. So sweet right?!
We set up Kelsey & Stephan’s first look in front of this neat old barn and vintage truck. This property had so many amazing spots to shoot! I just love their big huge smiles here, these two are so sweet together.
Kelsey & Stephan had so many vintage elements to their day, I just had to do one really funky vintage style treatment with the old truck. 🙂
Did I say every little detail was perfect? See even down to Stephan’s awesome socks!
Sweet Kelsey & her lovely ladies.
Stephan and his handsome groomsmen, complete with fancy cigars thanks to Dad!
And our entire lovely wedding party. Such a sweet and stylish bunch!
Such a lovely couple
And so fun! These two were an absolute joy to photograph!
🙂

Every shot was amazing, especially with the old vintage truck in the background. We loved the black and white shots especially. Can’t wait to see more of the wonderful couple. You did a spectacular job capturing precious moments. MOM
Nice Job!
What a beautiful wedding it was and captured in such a memorble way.
Dad
em…very timeless. very modern. beautiful blend of these two aspects. feels very much like film, which i love. the shot of her putting on the jewelry (right) is brilliant. something about the image seems very transcendent, captivating. it’s as if she was alone and you weren’t even there, and we have a window in to her experience. i could look at it for a long time. great depth in your work, friend.
What an amazing compliment of that beautiful day. Thank you, thank you, thank you…
Beautiful couple. LOVE the black & white picture. Kelsey looks so much like her mom.
Loved the photographs. Looks like it was a beautiful wedding. I agree, Kelsey looks like her mom.
Beautiful photos. Cute couple. Wishing them the best!
A gorgeous bride and what a wonderful location, beautifully photographed! The pictures will be as classic at their 50th wedding anniversary as they are now. The bride does look like her mother, but where is that lady? Such a loving compliment to you, that your dress was part of the occasion Cathy.
Looking forward to seeing more piccies later…..
Wonderful pictures of a beautiful couple in a stunning location with terrific friends and family. Congratulation and Best Wishes…Kelsey and Stephen.
Oh my, Kelsey….what a wonderful wedding. You and Stephan look so darn cute. We felt honored to be included amongst your family and friends, & to witness a defining moment in your lives. I can just picture the two of you in Portland in your neighborhood, enjoying your new beginnings. And these pictures are absolutely beautiful of the two of you with the wedding party. Hope the honeymoon was the icing on the cake.
