I am always excited about new locations, and last weekend was no exception. When I got a call asking if I had time for a kids session at a beautiful local winery I was excited to see the place. We walked around Sunday evening for just under 2 hours and I think I could have shot for at least 2 more hours with all the beautiful buildings and locations there. Oh and it also helped that my subjects were two of the cutest little kids I have had all season. 🙂
So for their Mom I am posting a quick little sneak peek. It was hard to just pick a few, I am so looking forward to finishing the whole set very soon!
Here are a few of my favorites so far:
See what a beautiful location to shoot these beautiful little kids!
This little dude cracked me up. The kiddo is so cute! He made me work for these smiles but man it was worth it.
Miss S was so sweet. Quite the princess in her tutu and leopard print shoes. I am going to have to track down a pair of those for my little one. I love it when kids bring the personality, and boy she had loads of it.
We had fun picking grapes from Grandma’s field. I loved the sun flair here with the perfect setting sun light.
And this one I just had to post. It reminds me of one I noticed in grandma’s house from a year ago. Little dude’s face just cracked me up!
Annie I had a great time meeting you guys over the weekend. Your kiddos are adorable, and your whole family was so great. I also enjoyed the bottle of wine with dinner thanks! I will have the entire set for you very soon. I am saving a few of my very favorites of the two of them together in case they make it to the holiday cards. I don’t want to ruin the surprise! And of course another web savvy family means another comment challenge. If you can get 30 people to comment on this post I would be happy to give you $25 off a set of holiday cards!
xo em
Oh my goodness! These photos are gorgeous! Granted, I’m partial to them due to the subjects, but the color and light is amazing.
Really wonderful photos! I love the first one in the vineyard.
Awesome pictures! I keep saying we need to do something like this with the kids. I love the outdoor shots, they always look so much more natural than the studio ones.
Heartmelting!!! And we just saw them yesterday, these photos just capture what we always enjoy in these two munchkins. Seriously thinking of having Kabir’s first ever professional photo done:-)
oh, emily. you’re really good. the vineyard pic is fantastic. i can’t wait to see the rest of them.
OH MY GOD. I can’t even imagine how magical this experience was for everyone… the first photo with the vineyard and hills in the background takes my breath away. Not to MENTION that the kids are so photogenic that it’s ridiculous! And then, I read that you guys shared a meal and a bottle of wine…. it all made me green with envy and lonely for your company! (Sabine’s in Montessori, RIGHT?????) Love, P
Lovely shots of lovely kids in a lovely setting! Annie, it sounds like you had as much fun with Emily as I did. Your babies are beautiful.
Very cute! I really like the shots in the vineyard!
These pictures are fabulous! I love the emotion in that last shot. So warm and snuggly.
Your lens sees them the way my heart does and justifies my grandfatherly pride. Thank You.
Beautiful photos, they are gorgeous kids…your dad sent us the link. Makes me think we should have some done with Spencer in a Vineyard next fall. Hope to see you guys soon. Michelle, Jason & Spencer
Beautiful pictures of beautiful kids! The colors are gorgeous, but I am so partial to black and whites and siblings loving each other. The last one is my favorite!
The pics are amazing. I obviously haven’t seen Santiago in a while — he’s not a baby anymore! Reminds me of my two……especially the last photo of Sabine giving Santiago a kiss, I think I’ve seen that face before!
What a fun setting. I know why Grampa Gene is so proud.
These photos are breathtaking! The light, color, and essence of these two little ones come together beautifully. I am envious!
Yarp! I was so busy looking at the photos, I didn’t realize I knew who was in them! These are awesome. I hope the fringe wannabe Aunt and Uncle (toys anyone?) get to vote too. Love the first and last photos the best – but they are all awesome!
Awesome pictures of some awesome kids!
beautiful kids + beautiful scenery + beautiful light = memorable photos
They are very adorable kids. What a great location for some awesome pics.
Beautiful
Great Pictures – I really like the one of the kids walking up the hill.
I love the first and last photo. With the wheel, I like the on on the right for Santiago and left for Sabine…
Are you sure that these aren’t stills from the sequel to “Under the Tuscan Sun”? You know, where Diane Lane has children with the mysterious American who shows up at the end of the original, and they live happily ever after in their Tuscan estate? Did I just make that up? Hmm…beautiful pics, beautiful kids…
When the kids outshine the breathtaking scenery, you know the photographer captures the heart of world.
Great Grandma Sarah (Aunt Betty) left this website up at a dinner party, these 2 kids are a highlight in her life and your photos have captured some great expressions. Just love them!!
The photos are magnificent, but I gotta know… How do you get the scenery AND the children to look so good?
Darn – I have two cute kids I’d love to have photographed, but I live in Holland. Do you make house calls? Beautiful pictures…………
wow! those fotos are stuning! Such beautiful kids. How about a couple more ?? :))
Wow! amazing location is right. Vineyard in the middle of a pine forest? These photos are wonderful particularly the color ones. The lighting is perfect the color saturation just right. OF course it doesn’t hurt that the kids are amazing cute.
These children are the cutest! And the photography is fabulous! I’m just sorry you are in Oregon – its a bit far from Philadelphia!
Wonderful photos!
