Once again I tried and tried but could not possibly keep this to one post. This is the first of two posts on Amanda & Greg’s super fun Portland wedding.
Amanda and Greg got married at a wonderful intimate venue that was new to me The Lion and the Rose Victorian Bed & Breakfast Inn. Such a great venue with lots of fun details. The wedding was very small and intimate with mostly out of town family and close friends. I have to admit I love the small weddings, it really gives you the chance to get to know people.
Amanda got ready in one of the Inn’s beautiful rooms.
Her dress and shoes fit the delicate vintage theme of the venue perfectly. A big thanks to the Inn owners, they were so nice to help me rearrange their place to get the dress set up!
and of course the shoes 🙂 I always love the shoes.
And the rings!
Our beautiful bride, isn’t she just stunning in that dress!
Amanda was walked down the isle by her super sweet step-dad. Quite a character that one, you will see quite a few of him and his “wild boys” when I do the reception post. 🙂
The Ceremony was beautiful, short and sweet but very moving. I do believe if I remember right it was preformed by the father of the groom. The Garden at the Lion and Rose is beautiful and intimate. Perfect for this small wedding.
After the wedding we did lots of family formal shots, I always end with the “fun” ones. And man were they fun! This group is full or characters for sure.
After the wedding we did a few with just the bride & groom. You can tell they were so happy to be married and moving on to the party part of the event. I love this little moment here I caught, they are so sweet together.
And of course I had to showcase the great building. I love all the details.
Amanda & Greg, thanks again for choosing me to be a part of your big day. I had a great time getting to know you and your families. I can not wait to do the “day after” session! It is going to be lots of fun.
I will get to more of the Bride & Groom images with post #2 coming later this week. Take it from me the reception images of the “wild boys” alone are worth coming back! Any friends or family members reading this please do leave a comment on this post. If you do I can capture your email and let you know when the full gallery is all up and ready to go!
XO em
