So the sun has come out in Oregon, and when I say it has come out I mean that it is HOT these days. Not that I am complaining, dear sun I love you! Don’t go away, I can deal with the heat. 🙂
That said we are in the middle of an Oregon style heatwave, we are a few days in now, but back at the beginning of the heat wave I spent the day in Portland doing a few sessions with some super fun people. One of those was with the lovely Monica & Jordon. These two were refereed to my by the uber fun Megan & Matt who were married just last year, so I knew they were going to be fun. Down from Seattle we decided to meet at a cute coffee shop on N Mississippi street in Ptown. You see Jordon has a thing for good coffee and funky little shops, I was of course happy to oblige. So we spent the afternoon walking around the fun artsy district and snapping a few photos. I had a great time getting to know these two better.
Here are a few of my favorites so far:
aww they are so cute right!
The allies of N Mississippi have some of the fanciest drain pipes around, Jordon spotted this one so we had to capture it.
we also hid from the heat in this great parking structure. I just had to capture some silhouette love.
These two are pretty funny together.
We did some laughing did I mention that?
This one might be my favorite, I love Jordon’s smile at his lovely fiance.
We kept laughing and walking, Monica was such a sport in her killer red shoes!
Jordon let his inner goof ball out a few times can you tell?
and one last shot of the lovelbirds. I just adore these two!
Monica & Jordon thanks again for meeting up with me! I will have the whole set for you very soon! Thanks again for being so fun! I even have a little blog challenge for you. If you can get 3o people to comment on this post I will give you a 11×14 wall print on me. Leave some love folks!

John Denver’s my favorite. Way to go Monica!
These make T happy.
Great pictures!!! Looking forward to the wedding.
I like the silhouette and the second triptych…
Aww, these are amazing! Oh, and here’s your spider back 😉
Love! Monica – good job on the red shoes, and I really love the background/location!!!
Thank you for including me in your 3rd photo. These all flow like a wonderous Michael McDonald live show!
Very nice! Looks like two had a lot of fun with the photo shoot! Can’t wait for the wedding. More photo ops!
I think what Emily fails to realize is that it takes all of Jordan’s effort to keep the inner goofball in. Great Pics!
The pictures look fantastic! Emily G does awesome work!
Yay Jordan!!!
Those are great. I like the 70’s kinda wash out one best, reminds me of my childhood.
Super!!!

I also agree with Senor Awesome: John Denver is GREAT!!
These make me want to get married all over again!
Love the first one in black & white. It is my favorite and I think it should be part of the thank you notes.
I love these pics! So unique and you guys look sooo in love:)
Love them all! Especially the first black and white and the third three-picture uh, picture? The one in front of the fence with the plants hanging down. Lots of love and laughter in these…
Great photos! Your “might be favorite” is my favorite! 2nd up is the silhouette kissing.
Whoa! These are great! You two look amazing. I love that Monica finally found her John Denver!
I love the one of your head on his shoulder. These really capture you two very well.
Great photos of the great looking couple. I especially like the first black and white photo.

Love #1 and LOVE seeing the two of you so in love. 🙂 Makes me soooo happy!!
These are really great. I love all the different poses too, so sweet!
Very nice pics. Love the first one and also the last one.
We loved them all…thanks for sharing. And best of all…how obviously happy they each are! A couple of the pictures seemed to be cut off so the lower portion was not visible…don’t know if it is my computer or what. We definately would love some of them!
I love the casual ease of these photos! They are terrific!
These are so cute!!! You two are adorable! I love these images. Nice work!
All the pictures are great but I especially like the feel of the 4 color photos that seem as if taken at an arcade picture booth, and the last picture with Monica’s reflection in the window.
I love these pics! My favorite is the black and white with you guys against the wall 😉
I love these! I love the first one (black & white) and the last one (brick wall) They really capture your essence and are VERY Portland. Please come back soon.
