Kelsey & Stephen rock.
When Kelsey first contacted me I asked her to tell me about herself and her wedding. She told me that she and Stephan were both artists, very laid back and will be getting married at the beautiful Garden Vineyards in Hillsboro later this summer. It all sounded wonderful, by the time we finally got together to go over album samples and chat I knew I had to shoot their wedding. I am soo looking forward to it!
We had a great time in inner SE Portland at their engagement session last week. Here are some of my favorites so far:
Check out Stephan’s beautiful work. My photos do not do it justice. He also showed me a few more, he is so talented!
The loft is still under construction as you can tell, we took the opportunity to get some really different images inside.
We also found some fun grungy buildings in the neighborhood to use.
The neighborhood is in the produce district so we found lots of great colors and textures to shoot. They are so sweet together.
You have to love the heart graffiti right! Perfect for these two love birds.
This one might be my favorite of the set. Kelsey just fit so perfectly all snuggled up next to Stephan.
As the sun started to set we headed up to the roof of Stephan’s building. I have to admit the rickety old staircase scared the crap out of me. I was not sure if it was going to be worth it, but then we reached the top at it was amazing! The perfect sunset over the city.
So worth the hike up the scary stairs.
They are so sweet together, and so fun!
and I had to post this last one, it is really more of a blooper, but you have to love the real un-posed laughter. We had so much fun!
Kelsey & Stephan I had a wonderful time tromping around the city with you. Thanks again for sharing the loft with me and being up for anything. I hope you are as happy with the set as I am. I will have the while galery for you very soon. And of course I could not be more excited about your wedding day! Like all my new clients I would love to offer you a little comment challenge. If you can get 25 people to comment on this blog post I will hook you up with an 11×14 wall print of your choice! So get commenting kids.

My favorite pic is the one of you two sitting against the building smiling at each other (in color) and also the one with you two kissing next to the graffiti heart.
